Amazing Apartment in Nice!
The two of us stayed in John's apartment just a couple weeks ago for 5 days and we had an amazing time! The apartment was clean, well equipped and conveniently located close to the train station, so that made it easy to do a day trip to Monaco, Antibes or Eze. It was also a 15min walk to the Promenade des Anglais and Old Nice, which is probably where we spent the bulk of our time. John even provided us with a list of nice restaurants (which I highly recommend trying). The only minor downside was that there was no wifi available in the unit, however, there was plenty of free wifi connections in the surrounding area. Arnold (the property manager) was very friendly and met us right on time for our check-in. I would definitely consider staying here again!

Nice place in Nice.
The apartment was just seconds away from the train station. It was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was big with bathtub and shower stall. We mostly walked but the tram stop was 2 min away.
We used busses at Garibaldi Square to venture to nearby villages and train to go to Monaco and Cannes.
We felt safe in the neighborhood. We also shopped at nearby grocery store located at the next block and used several supermarkets on our way back to the apartment. The kitchen had everything you need to cook and we felt almost at home.

Good location close to main train station
Very close to the main train station so a handy location, also very close to a number of eateries, shops etc which is convenient. The main bedroom is unusually large, nice and comfortable. The kitchen and lounge room is pretty small but then you don't plan to spend too much time there during holidays.
10-12 min walk away from the old town which was good and not too far from the beach area.. The apartment had umbrellas and mats for the pebble beach but unfortunately we spotted them on our last day as the property manager did not tell us about it and they would have been very handy during the hot days we spent on the beach.
The neighbourhood seemed a bit rough and saw drunk lads every evening on the streets around the apartment, although not threatening in anyway but still a bit of eyesore..
Overall good place to stay !!
Perfect location for exploring coast & hinterland
This apartment is probably the best location, if you don't just want to explore Nizza itself, but also the surrounding. With Nice Ville main station just one minute and Gare de Provence 5 minutes away it is easy to reach nearly every interesting point along the coast (Monaco, Cannes, Marseille) as well as the hinterland (Grasse, Provence) very easy and conveniently. Also the new tram to the beach and the old town is close-by, but you don't need it, it's just a 10-15 minutes, nice walk. There are plenty of shops, restaurants and cash points around, also a supermarket and a street market with fresh fruits and vegetables are in short walking distance. The building is clean and safe, has a huge entrance hall and offers a rather antique (but working, I love those old ones) elevator. The apartment was clean, in good condition and is reasonably furnished and equipped with enough dishes, cutlery and all the small things one could need during a stay like spicery, toilet paper etc.). Although situated close to the main station and a main street there is no traffic noise since the windows go to the back of the building. The beds were quite comfortable (we are sensible with this) and not to small. The sleeping and the living room have an portable air condition for hot days, which you don't really need if you keep the shutters closed over the day and leave the windows open at night. The bathroom is equipped with a shower and a tub. The living room is actually rather small, but still sufficient for a game on a rainy day. We didn't use the tv. There is a pass-through in the wall between the kitchen and the living room, which makes it comfortable to have breakfast or a meal there without having to carry around everything. The owner is very friendly and reliable. Also it's worth to mention that we got an A4-in-depth guide to the apartment, the building and the city in advance per email. We have never had such a good preparation with answers to all the tiny questions, one usually forgets to ask during the handing-over, like where the fuse is, what to do with garbage etc. For all matters during the stay, getting the key and so on there is a local agent, Arnold, friendly and reliable too. We enjoyed our stay and would chose this apartment again. The only thing we missed was WiFi, maybe one day this can be added. Thanks, John and Arnold, and see you again!
Excellent apartment for exploring the cote d'azur
Excellent position for the train station therefore exploring the cote d'Azur very easy. We wanted this locations beause we love to explore and get about. 5 minutes walk from excellent shops and the tram that will take you to the sea front and the old town. Apartment was clean, comfortable and the agent was very helpful. The owner provided excellent information before we arrived making the stay hassle free. This is very important. Overall a good standard of accomodation although not your 'romantic' hideaway!
